alright here's problem. (2-3 weeks ago) installed windows on partition using boot camp. worked fine while other day mac partition said volume needed repaired, , no longer boot os x. windows still runs fine. when boot using mac dvd , run disk utility, says volume cannot repaired. first time erased os x partition , reinstalled. 2 days later (today), same thing happening again. need because don't know causing this. sure, keep reinstalling going permanently fix problem? problem can't actual hard drive, right? otherwise windows partition on same hard drive wouldn't work either. guys think? i've heard diskwarrior, can't os x run it, that's not option. virus on windows partition? need expert advice! lot in advance!   sounds bad sectors on hard drive. windows partition external hard disk if have important data on , reinstall mac os x on 1 partition...

i replaced 12" monitor on mac lc series 14" pc monitor. used adapter purchased ebay similar 1 can bought @ griffin technologies. picture displays , can see 4 edges of desktop. problem when try , run program or open new window, it's size physically large fit within confines of desktop. don't understand desktop fits on screen well. loads of people have replaced old mac monitors i'm guessing i'm not first person have come across this. don't know of mac's specifications unfortunately except it's defiantly , lc series, number i'm not sure it's 1 low profile case , separate monitor opposed integrated one. believe made around 1993-1994 , has not been upgraded (software or hardware) o/s , hardware specification should same when left factory. ideas?   is problem isolated single application or applications cause same problem? example, if op...
